The
Saxon Beatitudes

Let your
light shine with honour before all men, that they may see your good works
dedicated to the glory of the High God in heaven:
Blessed are they who use their riches
wisely, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
Blessed are the loyal and honourable,
for they shall inherit the earth
Blessed are they who hold firm to folk
and family, for they shalt be called the righteous
Blessed are they who repent of their
wrongdoing, for they shall be comforted by the Holy Spirit
Blessed are they who fight for justice
and righteousness, for they shall be rewarded with glory
Blessed are they who show mercy, for
they will be shown mercy
Blessed are the pure in spirit, for
they shall see God
Blessed are those who fight to keep the
peace, for they shall be seen as the children of God
Blessed are those who suffer for a just
cause, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.
